“Metamorphos”
Exhibition Statement:
Metamorphos is a visual opera of becoming—where the figure of Horatio, ever shifting, embodies archetype, alter ego, and enigma. These works represent a bold step in Natoli’s artistic journey: embracing abstraction, theatricality, and mythological undertones to craft a series of living icons. Each image is a rite of passage, revealing not just the evolution of the sitter, but the reinvention of the artist’s creative voice.
Through chiaroscuro, texture, and digital alchemy, Natoli sculpts moments of transfiguration. These are not mere portraits; they are visual myths—relics of the soul in flux. As Horatio shape-shifts through gesture, costume, and gaze, so too does the viewer, called to reflect on the masks we wear, the selves we shed, and the essence we reveal when art dares to touch the eternal.
